Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Land at Tribhuvan International Airport, clear customs, and meet your local private driver. Transfer to your hotel and unwind.

Stroll through the bustling, narrow alleys of Thamel for gear shopping and sample traditional momos.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sacred Heritage Tour

Witness the holy morning rituals and sadhus at the majestic Pashupatinath Temple. Next, walk clockwise around the massive, meditative mandala of Boudhanath Stupa.

Climb the stone steps to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) to take in views of the entire valley floor. Complete the day exploring the wood-carved royal courtyards of Patan Durbar Square.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara via Manakamana

Embark on a scenic drive along the winding Trishuli River highway. Stop en route at Kurintar to board the Manakamana Cable Car up to the mountaintop Manakamana Temple. Drive onward to Pokhara.

Unwind with a relaxing lakeside walk along the banks of the tranquil Phewa Lake.

Day 4: Pokhara Sunrise & Mountain Sightseeing

Wake up at 4:30 AM to drive up to the Sarangkot Sunrise View Point. Watch the sun paint the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peaks in shades of gold.

Return for breakfast, then tour Devi's Fall (where the river plunges underground) and the adjacent Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. Take a boat across Phewa Lake to visit the island-bound Tal Barahi Temple.

Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan Sub-Tropical Jungles

Leave the mountain scenery behind as you descend into the lush, flat Terai plains of Chitwan. Upon arrival at your jungle resort, listen to a brief briefing on wildlife safety rules.

Enjoy a walk through an authentic indigenous Tharu Village followed by a high-energy Tharu stick dance performance.

Day 6: Deep Jungle Wildlife Safari

Glide silently down the Rapti River in a hand-carved dugout canoe to spot mugger crocodiles and exotic water birds.

Board an open-top 4x4 jeep safari deep into the core zone of Chitwan National Park. Keep your camera ready for greater one-horned rhinos, wild boars, deer, and the elusive Bengal tiger.

Day 7: Chitwan to Nagarkot Hill Station

Drive back toward the Kathmandu Valley, bypassing the city to climb up to the serene ridge-line resort town of Nagarkot, sitting at an altitude of 2,175 metres.

Savor a hot cup of Himalayan tea from your resort balcony as you watch a spectacular sunset over the distant Himalayan range.

Day 8: Nagarkot Sunrise to Kathmandu Departure

Catch a final, crisp mountain sunrise over Mt. Everest on a clear day. Drive down the hill to the beautifully preserved medieval city of Bhaktapur Durbar Square to admire its historic pottery markets and ancient brick palaces.

Transfer straight to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international flight homeward.
